".

The Haines family settled  on a Sheep Ranch in  Ridgefield in the 1940's. On 61st Avenue our grandparents farmed sheep, berries, cattle and always had an abundant garden.

Our dad, David Haines continued in the farming business while working as a salesman  and minister.  He began in the nursery and tree business in the 1970's after several years of raising strawberries and growing pasture for hay.

Today the Christmas Tree farm is run by Lisa Haines Leonard with the help of cousin Brad Phillips, daughters and many other family friends and neighbors.

Sustainable Farming

Our Christmas tree farm is managed and operated as a sustainable, socially and environmentally responsible farm.
  • All cut trees are replaced by new seedlings
  • Trees are locally grown for a local market
  • Natural trees improve the environment by absorbing carbon dioxide and giving us back oxygen
  • Our farm and forest are managed to encourage biodiversity and soil conservation
  • Family owned and operated
  • It's an opportunity for a wholesome family tradition--yours and ours!
